About the sponsor

Casey’s Special Education Services is a trusted team of over 25 licensed special education teachers providing personalized, in-person support to neurodivergent learners ages 2–28 across 13 counties within 35 miles of Washington, DC. Since launching in November 2022 with just one student and one educator, we’ve proudly supported over 300 families with tailored, strengths-based services that grow with each learner’s evolving needs.

Our students have a wide range of learning profiles, including those who are twice-exceptional, have complex cognitive or medical profiles, experience mental health challenges, or present with a PDA profile. Whether a family is seeking academic support, special education advocacy, or educational direction, we meet them where they are—and build a comprehensive support plan from there.

Our services include:

• 1:1 special education tutoring (at home, school, or library)

• IEP/504 support: document review, prep, attendance, and setup

• Collaboration with schools, therapists, and medical teams

• School placement consulting (we’ve visited 50+ schools!)

• Homeschool instruction and consulting

• Monthly inclusive events for the community

• Professional development and school partnerships
